DUTY AND CHARGES

All shipments from outside the UK must be sent incoterms DDP. The Entrant will be responsible for payment of all import charges, delivery charges, duties, taxes, and insurances.
All such charges must be paid by the Entrant in advance of receipt of the Entry by the People’s Choice Drinks Awards. Any entries arriving without these charges being paid in advance will either be returned to the sender or the sender will be liable for an additional fee. SWS will charge this fee back to PCDA and PCDA will re-invoice the amount back to the sender.

PACKAGING AND LABELLING

The samples boxes must be clearly labelled for People’s Choice Drinks Awards and you must use the label provided at www.peopleschoicedrinksawards.com/delivery
Paperwork should be accessible in order to avoid having to open cases and find invoices etc.

Packaging: Entries/samples must be sent in sealed boxes and not in open crates or bags, and attach the address label to each of your boxes
Recyclable packaging: Wherever possible, please use recyclable packaging materials (eg no Polystyrene)

Number of bottles/packs for all entries:
For each entry to each category you are required to send
– WINE: three 75cl bottles of wine or the equivalent quantity if wine is in other formats. If in bag-in-box format please send 2 boxes for each entry (so we have one for the Awards ceremony).  The exception to this is the design and packaging category ‘Buy with your Eyes’ which only requires one bottle/box/can/pouch for judging purposes.
– SPIRITS: one bottles of spirits (+70cl each) or the equivalent quantity if spirits are in other formats/sizes

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTRIES COMING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK

contact the shipper or courier company to confirm the delivery deadline, address and documentation required.
